Georgia is an accidental writer. A beautiful life punctuated by heartache has inspired her to honour the love her late husband had for their boys. Her first book, My Dad is an Eagle Now, is simple and heartfelt, recreating the story her husband told their boys during his time battling terminal cancer; that when they see a wedge tailed eagle soaring in the skies above, it’s him, checking up on them. It offers a safe and comforting space to navigate grief for families. Since it’s release in 2022, Georgia has donated over $9,000 to cancer research from the sales of the book.

Alongside raising her two beautiful boys, Fergus and Freddie, Georgia is working on a second children’s book, studying a diploma of Counselling, and accompanying her Great Dane “Forrest” on his therapy dog gigs. She is at her happiest at home on the farm with her boys, and on a horse.
